When it comes to clothing, nothing says summer better than floral and Summery prints. These bad boys are loud and can only really be worn in Spring and Summer. There's ties, shirts, shorts, pocket squares etc. all adorning different floral and Summer patterns. Here's a few of my favs for 2016.
Floral Print Shirts
This number from Banana Republic looks excellent with a solid navy knit tie. Keep it cool by pairing it with a grey linen suit and you'll be ready for anything the warm weather will throw at you.
Another one from Banana Republic, they have their floral print game on point this year. Once again keep the tie simple or just rock it buttoned up to the top with an air tie.
Unfortunately this one isn't available in Canada but to all my American readers this Uniqlo x Liberty London Linen shirt is straight fire. I love Liberty London fabrics and their collaborations are always on point.
Swim Shorts
Look no further than H&M for the best value Swim Shorts you can buy. Every year I pick up at least a couple of pairs because they usually come in at $20 which you really can't beat anywhere else.
Another H&M pair, this one a little more subtle than it's floral friend but still just a perfect print for summer. The white base will even make you look a bit more tanned too!
Printed Shorts
Printed shorts are a bit tougher to pull off. The same rules that apply to your shirt and tie work here. Make sure if you are going to combine prints that one is larger than the other. This pair from Banana Republic (I know, I know) would look great with any blue or grey shirts you may have lurking in your closet.
This pair from H&M is another excellent pair for the summer time, the cotton material will breath in warm weather and the floral print screams "i'm here to party".
