Corduroy is a staple of fall for me. It's warm, great for blocking the wind and the texture will get you noticed. My favourite part of fall is truly the textures, whether it's tweed or corduroy these fabrics are practical and look great in the fall. I picked the Steven Alan Washed Cord Jacket from this years #GQforGap collection. It's a beautiful piece for a great price and will go with almost anything.

Patterned Wool Pants

Patterned pant just look better in fall, whether it's a nice Prince of Wale pattern or a simple plaid. Pairing a nice pair, like this number from the Gap, with a camel coat or chunky peacoat will look great this fall. Try switching out your regular jeans for a pair of wool pants like these, i'm sure you'll get some compliments.
