There are a lot of great cities in Canada but one has always stood out to me, Montreal. Maybe it’s the French, maybe it’s the old town but I always feel like i’ve travelled across the pond to Europe when I make my way to Montreal.

This time I was lucky enough to be sent to one of my favourite cities by National Bank of Canada to attend the #Altcourt party for Rogers Cup. I love tennis and attend the Rogers Cup in Toronto almost every year, so I was quite excited for this jam.

After landing and getting into the Marriott Hotel I quickly grabbed a bite at a classic Quebec institution, La Belle Province. Famous for “Steamies” (steamed hotdogs, with coleslaw on-top) and poutine. After that it was a quick change at the hotel and then off to Uniprix Stadium for the event.

We arrived just as the sun was setting and got to watch some excellent dancers at the Uni Prix  Stadium. With light installations, a ball pit, 10 person table tennis and a massive game of Pong the "Alternate Court" event was something i've never experienced before. The fabulous bartenders whipped up some very unique drinks as well.  It was a great way to kick off the start of an excellent Canadian Tennis Tournament. I’ll be cheering for Milos Raonic and Eugenie Bouchard! Check out the Rogers Cup in Montreal from July 22-31st 2016.
